There is a town called Jamtara in Jharkhand. This city is notorious for cyber crime. Cybercriminals started growing here only after the availability of internet increased. Another criminal uses internet to cheat people, a girl from the same city uses internet for studies UPSC Such as cracks in hard tests. In fact, we are talking about Taruni Pandey, who cracked the UPSC CSE exam in the first attempt by studying only from YouTube.

Taruni cleared the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Service Examination (CSE) this year. Taruni grew up in Chittaranjan, West Bengal, but did her schooling in Jamtara. He initially wanted to be a doctor, not a civil servant. But maybe fate had something else written. He also got admission in MBBS, but first missed studies due to illness and later got hurt after slipping down a hill. Thus, within two years, his MBBS studies were completely missed.

This is how the ‘fire’ of becoming a civil officer was ignited

At the same time he has to start everything again after returning from medical college. The young woman said, ‘I took some time to manage myself. At that time my qualification was only 12th pass. He said that he took the help of IGNOU for further studies and then went on to pursue bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English literature.

Taruni further said, I was able to recover, it was only a matter of time before the mountain of calamity fell on me again. My brother-in-law, a CRPF commandant, was martyred in Srinagar in 2016. He then had to approach various bureaucrats and politicians to talk about his sister’s job. During this time, he was very impressed by the officers and he decided to become a civil officer.

Taruni herself was supposed to appear for the UPSC CSE exam in 2020, but couldn’t because of Covid. Then he took the exam in 2021. This was his last chance because of the age limit. However, even this time his troubles were not over as he contracted Covid and had to be hospitalized for four months. In such a situation, he now had only six months of examination time.

The point to note here is that he never took coaching for UPSC exam preparation. Taruni said that she has focused on self-study since the beginning. He never resorted to coaching. He prepares all his notes himself and takes the help of YouTube videos for the same. He was under pressure to pass the exam, so he used various strategies for studying.

The young lady also gave some tips to the aspirants preparing for UPSC. Let’s know about these tips.
